WE EMPOWER FEMALE FOUNDERS. A cooperation project of the universities of Bayreuth, Passau, Mannheim.

The application phase for the Founders Academy 2023 in Bayreuth runs from 1st of March 2023 to 1st of Apri 2023! A digital information event will take place on 29t of March 2023.

Women still belong to the minority amongst founders. We would like to change that. Together with the University of Passau and the University of Mannheim, we have set up an annual program that encourages women to start their own businesses and teaches them the necessary skills. The focus is on sensitizing and qualifying female students and scientific staff of different disciplines for the topic of founding start-ups and, above all, to inspire and enthuse them. The Founders' Academy serves as a starting point for the development of a supra-regional network in which experiences and knowledge regarding the topic of founding can be exchanged.
